The LG 3D TV is said to be the biggest yet at 84 inches. It features a 4k resolution and though 4k is not compatible as yet with any TV programming it’s still a marvel. The LG 3D TV was on exhibit at CES 2012 but is not available to the public for now.
Having a 4k resolution gives prospective consumers four times the pixel density of 1080p HDTVs. It displays eight million pixels at 3840×2160 more popularly known as 4k resolution. LG has nicknamed it UDTV or Ultra definition TV. 4k is usually achieved through the use of projectors.
Some features that make this 3D 4k TV desirable are its narrow bezels and 3D Depth Control which allows you to customize your 3D experience. The specially made remote control has voice, gesture, point and scroll options. You also get access to LG’s catalog of 1200+ Smart TV apps.
The 4k attraction may be stronger thank 3D TV with the fact that you get extreme picture entertainment minus the glasses. With such a large screen size though you would need adequate space to appreciate the 4k resolution.
These LG TV models may hit the stores mid 2012 and have been said to have the only confirmed shipping dates for these size TVs.
