As manufacturers compete to provide the biggest TV displays Sharp TV has manufactured a prototype of an 85 inch screen with 8k resolution which is 4x the resolution of current TVs. With a 680 by 4320 pixels resolution this Super High Vision TV has 16 times the resolution of a regular HDTV.
Although 4k and 8k resolution for the masses is a long ways off as content for this ultra high definition TV is still in the planning stages we’ve been given a sneak peek into the future of television.
